Broken Flowers consist of Anna Mosley, Darren Gibbs, Big Mike Brown and Kev Asquith. An Alt. country and acoustic rock outfit from West Yorkshire playing their original take on all that is Americana. Since forming early in 2014 they have been building and audience and reputation through live performances, radio sessions and lots and lots of hard work to promote their debut ‘Amaryllis’. This initial EP received some excellent reviews including 4* from the acclaimed Maverick Magazine and has been followed up with support performance with a wide range of well known artists such as Big Country, Nazareth, Dodgy, The Feeling, Steve Forbert and Rupert Stroud to name a few.
Later in 2016 the band headed back into the studio to record their second EP – So Many Shadows. 6 Tracks from the pen of Anna Mosley tried and tested in the band’s live performances. Blending the members’ eclectic influences such as Bob Seger, Steve Earle, Pink Floyd or Zac Brown they have created a unique sound where traditional instrumentation meets established rock sensibilities…. melody, guitar riffs and story-telling lyrics are the hallmark of this ambitious band.
